Hints and Tips

I added white dots to the scarf and hat using a white marker this makes the image pop.  The fluff on the hats was created using liquid applique.

DT Call for Winter Wonderland

Would you like to be more prepared at Christmas?

Do you love making Christmas cards?

Would you like to join an easy going, fun loving, friendly Design Team?

If you have answered yes to all three question then you could be just the person we are looking for.

We are looking for 1 new DT member.  You do not need to have previous experience of DT membership, just be enthusiastic and a regular blogger. We have 2 teams so your commitment would be to produce something once a fortnight, comment weekly on 1 in 10 entries, host the challenge every 12 weeks and be part of the rota for choosing the winners. Hints and Tips

Look around in your local pound shops you will be surprised what you can find to make cards with.  The union jacks on this card are from a paper chain pack from Wilkinsons and they only cost £1 and you can still used the rest of the pack to make a chain with.

Hints and Tips

After the background was embossed I added white gel marker to the dots of snow.  The design paper was embossed with the ice crystal embossing folder and some of the ice crystals where highlighted with Stickles glue this can make the paper look more expensive.
